Why Family Enterprise Advising?
To be transparent, I’ve become the farm coach I wish my family had had. I have a broad background from business development to risk management, preparing me to understand how individuals work in the farm and family business. I’ve studied Psychology, Emotional Intelligence, Personality and Team Dynamics and in 2021 I completed the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation, Conflict Resolution and am in the process of becoming a Certified Coach through ICF. I’ve met with hundreds of farmers over the years and realized the amount of risk and uncertainty they face, not to mention the silent killer of farms, being “unsaid expectations” it became very clear how passionate I was about helping and that many enterprises struggle with the hard issues and benefit from a third party who truly wants to facilitate those conversations with them so they’re ready for anything.
